Open Question: Did Wal-Mart in your area have Rock Band 1 drumsets for $10, after Christmas?
In Oklahoma they did, people couldn’t tell if it was real or if it was in the wrong spot. But it was $10, and I bought me 2. But (my) Wal-Mart only had it for Xbox 360.
But in Texas they’re $30.

Resolved Question: Garth Brooks Greatest Artist All Time?
Anyone Agree, I do think so, he done so many great things from music to tv to his concerts from 1989 when a cowboy from oklahoma debuted on austin city limits with much too young “to feel this damn old” what a great song my fav to this day. He tore up the 90’s with songs and number one hits, great duets, awesome concerts from Ireland in 1997 and Central park in new york and then his tribute to george jones in 2000 or 2001 and then his salute to dale earnhardt and 9/11 after these things took place in 2001. I think he truely is the best ever and with him coming back to do concerts for a few weeks a year thru 2014 in Las vegas at wynns starting next weekend, and ive heard rumor of a 2015 tour and full time career back in country music and we need it. Look when garth came back with “More than memory” “Good Ride Cowboy” “Workin For A Livin” “Midnight Sun” real country sounds i thought i was in the 90’s again. Well my take on this give me yours love to hear from ya!

we most grew up in this area where C;C:R,G;N;R & the guy’z from Rolling stones first began to record album’s not to mention the humble beginning’s of Monster rocker’s of Ac/Dc.i once lived apon dead horse road & apon round mountain road in Tulsa oklahoma both are not far from Eagle rock missouri’s recording studio and this Fayetteville Bug & snake infested area is perfect for the music video.with the rumpa pum pum big drum run of pearl drum’s in the back ground.fayetteville’s bikes blues & BBQ is a great place to unleash it in concert with style.mixing in the steel horses we now ride and the i wanna be a cow boy baby lyric’s set the stage for the new full throttle=volume & pace (Young Gun’s 3)music video perfetct for the grass lands where jessie james & Billy the kid once had ridden and slept apon earth’s bed as it said in the young gun’s lyric’s.

Resolved Question: Career advice. Should I do what I love or what will help me make bank?
I’m currently 18 and on the cusp of deciding what I’d like to do for the rest of my un-retired life. I’d really like a stable career, but none really interest me. I’ve always wanted to be a filmmaker, since childhood, but have long given up that dream (or at least, faced the realities about said dream.) It’s a fickle industry, especially where I am from, and doesn’t seem likely to give me a secure, comfortable monthly income unless I go to work for some network, etc. And film schools are freaking EXPENSIVE. Being 18, I have literally no money or means to afford such a school. (No college fund either.)

On the other hand, there’s a job that I seem capable of. Air Traffic Controlling. My father worked for the FAA for nearly 35 years and it always provided us with a modest living. He now teaches it at a university in Oklahoma City. I must admit that I’m not exactly very interested in this sort of work, but it’s a job and not everyone has the luxury of absolutely enjoying their chosen career paths.

So here’s the conundrum. Do I try my hand at some expensive film or other creative arts school and try to work my way into film or television production (something that I know from secondhand experience isn’t that easy or reliable to do) or do I try for a local college I can afford and eventually school with my father to learn air traffic controlling, a career I wouldn’t necessarily mind, and have a steady, dependable income that I can use to support myself and my hobbies in filmmaking and music?

I’ve racked my mind about this over and over again. I’ve considered nearly every career I know of, and it always seems to come back down to these two.

What should I do? Or, rather, what would YOU do?

Resolved Question: Can I attend air traffic controller training school in Oklahoma City even if I major in something unrelated?
I am close to getting a bachelor’s degree in music performance, but really want to go into air traffic control, through the training school in Oklahoma. Would my chances of getting into the school be better with the bachelor’s in music? I do not want to pursue music as a career, but would having this degree help my chances of getting into the Oklahoma school, or should I just make the career switch now and apply without completing my bachelor’s? I’ve also considered the military, but would prefer just the school.
