Resolved Question: How would I fit in, in the town of Austin TX?
I am in the courting stage with a company in Austin Texas. I am from Oklahoma, NE Oklahoma. I always made it my dream to live in Tulsa but the job market in Oklahoma is tighter than a drum. I’m 31 single, no kids male. From all the research I’ve been doing, and talking to friends that have been to Austin they all say it is great. I am a big fan of music of all types and activities. Can someone that has been to both cities tell me how they compare and give me guidance?
Thanks,
CC

To those of you who answered explaining what texas country is, I already know what it is. That’s pretty much all I listen to. I guess my main concern is why most of America continues to poison their mind with stuff that sounds like pop.
And Bandit, are you kidding me? The best Country music is coming out of the Levelland/Lubbock area. Austin is too weird, which is the way they should keep it, that’s fine with me. Wreck ‘em Tech!
